The untitled project will include never-before-seen behind the scenes and home videos of Kanye West within the 21-year span of his career. It was produced and directed by Clarence “Coodie” Simmons and Chike Ozah aka Coodie and Chike-the pair directed West’s two debut music videos “Through The Wire” and “Jesus Walks.” A source close to the duo reported that Simmons and West started chronicling his life in the 1990s and the primary focus of the series will be their relationship along with hip hop’s global influence.

Another focus in the series will be the death of Donda West, and how Kanye handled his grief throughout his career plus his strategic move into the fashion industry.

The rapper is not directly involved in the project but sources close to him claim he has given his support since he’s allowed the men to follow and document his career within the past twenty years. According to MSN, a former bodyguard, Steve Stanulis, worked for West in 2016 and is currently pitching a documentary about him as well.
