Neo Langston, Friend Of Singer D4vd, Arrested After Failure To Appear As Witness Amid Celeste Rivas Hernandez Death Investigation

Neo Langston, 23, friend of R&B singer D4vd, 20, has been arrested after failure to appear as a witness in a case amid the death investigation of Celeste Rivas Hernandez, 15.

According to TMZ, Langston, one of D4vd’s friends and famous streamer, is caught up in the cross-hairs of investigators as his R&B singer friend remains under the scope in Hernandez’s murder case. TMZ cites online jail records showing Langston being booked into Lewis & Clark County Jail in Montana on Thursday (January 22).

The publication reports that Langston was at his mother’s home in Helena, Montana when police gave him a surprise visit. According to public records, the home was purchased in March 2025. Pictures shared on X, via Helena Independent Record City Editor Thom Bridge, shows a small group of officers handcuffing Langston.

According to police in Helene, MT, they were assisting the LAPD’s Robbery-Homicide Division, which is leading the D4vd-Hernandez investigation, when they busted Langston. The arrest arrives after a judge in Los Angeles signed off on an arrest warrant for failure to appear as a witness.

After Langston was taken into custody on an out of jurisdiction warrant from Los Angeles, he was held without bond. However, he has since been transported to Los Angeles and booked into LAPD’s Metropolitan Detention Center on $60,000 bail.

TMZ reports it’s unclear if the case is related to Hernandez’s murder trial, but arrives amid its investigation. However since at least November 2025, a grand jury has convened in the murder case of Celeste Rivas Hernandez, whose dismembered corpse was found inside D4vd’s Tesla trunk in a Hollywood tow yard in September 2025.

Additionally, multiple witnesses have already testified. Furthermore, sources claim D4vd, who has not yet been arrested or charged, is viewed as a suspect and will likely be charged with the teen’s murder. There is also a second suspect identified in the case.
