As we previously shared, Ne-Yo, who is the 45-year-old father of 7 children by 3 women, has been exploring polyamory and has admitted that monogamy just is not for him. The “So Sick” singer has experienced several relationships, including one failed engagement and one failed marriage, both relationships did not last, mainly over allegations of infidelity, on his part.
In 2010, Ne-Yo, born Shaffer Chimere Smith, got engaged to Monyetta Shaw, with whom he shares two children: a daughter Madilyn Grace Shaw-Smith, 14; and a son Mason Evan Shaw-Smith, 13. In 2013, Ne-Yo and Shaw split two months before their planned wedding day.
In 2015, Ne-Yo got engaged to Crystal Renay (formerly Crystal Smith), with whom he shares three children: son Shaffer Chimere “SJ” Smith Jr., 8; son Roman Alexander-Raj Smith, 6; and daughter Isabella Rose Smith, 3. In 2016, they tied the knot. In February 2020, the couple said they were divorcing, but reconciled four months later and remarried in April 2022 in Las Vegas. Then, in August 2022, Renay filed for divorce, about six months after she accused Ne-Yo of cheating on her for eight years and having a child with another woman. The couple’s divorce was finalized in January 2023.
As Crystal Renay alleged, Ne-Yo had another child during their marriage. In 2021, Ne-Yo welcomed a son, Braiden Bagnerise Smith, with social media influencer Sade Bagnerise. In 2023, the couple welcomed another boy, Brixton Bagnerise Smith. In September 2023, Ne-Yo declared he was the legal father of Braiden and Brixton after filing to establish paternity and parental rights in May 2023.
Since calling off his engagement to fiancé Monyetta Shaw, finalizing his divorce with ex-wife Crystal Renay, and going through all of his paternity drama with ex-girlfriend Sade Bagnerise, Ne-Yo has been exploring a life of polyamory and flaunting his polyamorous relationship.
In a new interview with the ‘Gold Dimes Show,’ Ne-Yo clapped back at all of his critics and anyone shaming him over his polyamorous relationship. With two of his girlfriends seated behind him and the show’s two hosts, Ne-Yo said, “I really hope that this podcast goes out to trillions of people because I so desperately need the world to know how much of a f**k I don’t give about what they think, about what they say.”
Ne-Yo added, “I am 100 percent locked into the reality that this life is mine and I’m going to live this sh*t the way that I want to live it. It ain’t got nothing to do with how you feel about it. Your opinion is your own. I ain’t saying you ain’t entitled to it, but don’t feel a way if I don’t f***ing care. Just the reality of it.”
Ne-Yo later said, “At this point, I am the most honest person that I’ve ever been. It makes me realize how much time I wasted lying about dumb sh*t when I could have just said upfront what it was that I wanted, who I am, how I am, whatever the case may be, and then just let the people that rock the way I rock gravitate to me, as opposed to trying to be something that I know I wasn’t.”

DISGUSTING! No wonder this country and the world have been in so much trouble with COVID and crazed, evil right wing authoritarian types gaining power and killing millions with their self-destructive “policies” on COVID, etc. God is watching and He has apparently allowed a purge because of the sordidness of Ne-yo and other sickos of his ilk that threaten the world with their smarminess. Ne-yo had Better “give a ______!” There IS a God, you dolt. Stop endangering us all with your sick behavior!
