NBA Drug Tests Bradley Beal After Back-To-Back 50-Pt Games
Washington Wizards star Bradley Beal reveals that the NBA drug tested him after he scored over 50 points in two back-to-back games recently.
While he’s been a top five scorer throughout this season, this past Sunday, Beal garnered 53 points against the Chicago Bulls, and set a new career-high the next night against the Milwaukee Bucks, with 55 points. But, before he had a chance to reach the achievement for a third time in a row, the 26-year-old claimed the league administered a drug test.

On Wednesday, after winning a game against the Brooklyn Nets, scoring 30 points himself, he said in a post-game interview, “I guess the league don’t want me to score 50. I had a drug test today.” Via his last three games, Beal scored 138 points combined.
Furthermore, Beal’s latest achievement makes him the first player in franchise history, and the 11th in league history, to accomplish the feat.
Additionally, the two-time All-Star has averaged a career-high of 30.1 points, 6 assists an 4.4 rebounds per game.
