Naya Rivera’s autopsy revealed more details about her death including when she called for help while assisting her son back to the boat.

The report from the Ventura County Medical Examiner’s Office said Naya Rivera placed her son Josey Hollis Dorsey onto the boat and he “noticed the decedent put her arm up in the air and yelled ‘help” on July 8. Seconds after, she disappeared into the water and was found five days later. Her death was ruled as accidental drowning and authorities reported Rivera was trapped in thick underwater vegetation for days at Lake Piru.
It was also revealed Rivera was taking medication for a sinus infection and had previous issues with vertigo. Prescribed amphetamines were found in her system but they were not a contributing factor in her death.

Before her death, Rivera wrote the following tweet with a picture of her and Josy captioned “just the two of us”
