As previously reported, law enforcement arrested TikToker Mr. Prada in connection with the case of a slain doctor and therapist William Nicholas Abraham, whose body was discovered wrapped in a tarp along a Louisiana highway over the weekend.

The 20-year-old had been wanted on charges of aggravated criminal damage to property, resisting an officer, and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle following the death of the 69 year old. The warrant did not include any charges directly related to Abraham’s death. While authorities continue to investigate the nature of the relationship between Mr. Prada and Abraham, as well as the circumstances surrounding Abraham’s tragic death, a former attorney for the deceased therapist has spoken out to address some of the circulating rumors.

Defense Attorney Jarrett Ambeau, who represented Abraham in a 2015 case, stated that the alleged victim from that case was not “Mr. Prada.” At that time, an 11-year-old accused Abraham of inappropriately touching him during a counseling session. Although the therapist was arrested and booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison, he was later released after posting a $25,000 bond, according to records from the nine-year-old case. Prosecutors ultimately decided not to bring the case to trial.

“After considering all available evidence, the best interest of the child, and the lack of any inculpatory statements by the arrestee, we declined to institute formal charges,” District Attorney Hillar Moore explained to WAFB earlier this week.

Amid the news regarding Mr. Prada, many online were quick to try to piece together his alleged involvement in this latest case. However, Ambeau stated on Wednesday that the victim in the 2015 case is “unequivocally not him.”

So far, no one has been charged with Abraham’s death. Mr. Prada, whose real name is Terryon Ishmael Thomas, remains jailed and will now have to appear before a judge in Texas for an extradition hearing. When he appears in court for that hearing, the judge will determine whether the suspect should be returned to Louisiana to face charges in the warrant issued by the Baton Rouge Police Department.
