A tragic discovery was made Sunday morning after a mother of two was found dead inside a Dollar Tree freezer in Miami, Florida.
According to The Sun, Dr. Massiell Garay Sanchez, 32, was last seen walking into the store the night before her body was discovered. Investigators say Sanchez did not make any purchases during her visit.
Around 8 a.m., an employee reportedly found her inside the freezer. Miami-Dade Police believe Sanchez may have entered an employee-only area, though the exact circumstances leading up to her death remain unclear.
Family Says Sanchez Was a Dedicated Mother and Doctor
Sanchez’s family described her as a hardworking woman who was determined to provide a better life for her children. According to relatives, she was a doctor from Nicaragua and deeply devoted to her family. Her two children currently remain in Nicaragua, according to information shared on the family’s GoFundMe page.

The family has launched a crowdfunding campaign to help cover funeral expenses and to transport Sanchez’s body back to Nicaragua, where they plan to hold services.
Authorities confirmed the case is still under investigation. Police are also looking into whether Sanchez may have had a history of personal or mental health challenges, though no official cause of death has been released.
