Montana Yao Says She’s Not Back With Malik Beasley Despite Public Apology: “Who Said I Took Him Back?”
As we previously reported, basketball player Malik Beasley offered a public apology to his wife Montana Yao after he ditched his family to be with Larsa Pippen.
The 24-year-old athlete apologized to Montana and their son “for putting you in the situation you were put in the last few months.” He added, “my head wasn’t where it was supposed to be.” Shortly after, Montana responded to his message and said she and their baby boy appreciated his apology and is working on “healing.”
Montana, 23, has decided to drop a follow-up post to make it clear where she stands with her baby daddy: She said, “Some of y’all are trippin. Who said we back together? Or I took him back? Lmao Just cause I said my son and I appreciate an over due apology? Y’all some weirdos fr and don’t want to see a successful co parenting situation??” She added, “y’all coming at me as if I haven’t publicly and privately gone off on this man these past few months? Talking about I’m coming for the wrong person.”
Before ending off she said, “Nah I said what I said to ol girl and it was long overdue. Other than that, I love y’all who been supporting me throughout this whole thing.”
As we previously reported, Montana filed for divorce in December after Malik and Larsa were photographed holding hands. Larsa and Malik officially called it quits in April. At the time, a source close to the 46-year-old explained that “Things got hard with travel, etc. It was more of a timing thing.” The source added, “They’re still in communication but not together. Larsa invested in a digital fitness brand called Tonal and just made a lot of money. She bought a new Ferrari to celebrate and is focused on her businesses.”
