Yesterday’s price clearly isn’t today’s price for Moneybagg Yo, whose fans are stunned at how much the rapper is charging to eat at his recently-opened kitchen and bar lounge. As you may already be aware, the “Said Sum” rapper opened Cache 42 last month in Memphis, Tennessee, and while fans were excited to pay the restaurant a visit, they appear to have been turned off by how much it costs to eat there.
Moneybagg, who previously said he played a key role in “every detail” pertaining to the restaurant, is now receiving backlash after fans caught wind of the menu, which includes a 40oz Tomahawk Steak for $135. Mind you, it comes with no sides, so don’t be expecting a large fries or a bowl of salad, because that’s going to cost you extra. And while Cache 42 claims that the steak will be grilled to perfection, the price still isn’t good enough for some fans, who think Moneybagg has completely lost touch with those who’ve been supporting him throughout his career.
The price ain’t the issue. It’s what quality of food imma get for that price cause ion trust moneybagg to cook me a $135 steak

“Moneybagg want $100 for a steak, I’ll pay that and he better come out and rap,” one Twitter user wrote. Another continued, “The price ain’t the issue. It’s what quality of food imma get for that price cause ion trust moneybagg to cook me a $135 steak.” The conversation continued all the way over to Facebook, where one stunned fan added, “MoneyBagg Yo restaurant so mfn high!! Do he not remember when he was starving in them apartments?? BFFR.”
The menu at Cache 42 is said to be a reflection of Memphis’ rich food culture, with a twist of hip hop. The dishes are a fusion of traditional soul food and contemporary flavors, making them unique and flavorful.
From fried chicken to mac and cheese, the menu has all the classic southern dishes you would expect, but with a twist. For example, the chicken wings are served with a choice of three different sauces, including a spicy honey mustard and a tangy BBQ sauce.
I can tell folks don’t eat well if they are complaining about Moneybagg Yo’s restaurant prices. You’re not getting a tomahawk steak or lobster for a 2 for $20 price. Bffr.

I feel like they’re acting like MoneyBagg Yo can’t have a restaurant selling high quality steak because of who he is.
this is no different than any other expensive steak house to me.
also imo, generally speaking, eating expensive steak is as simple as being able to. That’s all.
