What was supposed to be a normal shopping day for Momma Dee turned into a nightmare!
According to TMZ, the “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” star got injured and ended up in an ambulance after someone slammed into her car and allegedly drove off.
The news outlet notes that this all went down last Wednesday after going to a Sephora store in Atlanta. Momma Dee explained that she parked on a busy street and when she tried to get out of her vehicle, it was struck by another driver. She says the car that hit her was a black Ford sedan, and it did not stop even after the collision. In a video obtained by the news site, Momma Dee appears to be in great pain. “Oh lord, the lady just left. She hit me and ran.” Momma Dee even shared the damages her car sustained and a picture of her injuries which included bumps, bruises, and scratches. Thankfully, they are minor.

The singer had appeared to be in great health ever since her scary hospitalization back in 2019. That year she took to social media to reveal that she was fighting for her life. In a video, she shared that she was in the hospital and asked for prayers some people questioned whether it was serious or another cosmetic procedure.
While she didn’t share full details at the time, during the premiere of “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” season 9, Momma Dee confirmed that she suffered a ruptured bladder from a kidney stone caused by her excessive drinking. She later thanked her fans and husband Ernest for their love and support.
“I want to say thank you for all of the prayers and well wishes. I appreciate each of you. ??? I want to say thank you to all my family and friends as well for all the support, text, and calls. Special Thanks to my husband for saving my life and making the call when you did. Thank You, God, for allowing me to make it through this.”

Aside from that, Momma Dee has been making headlines over her online drama with her son Lil Scrappy’s ex Bambi and fellow LHH cast mate, rapper Sukihana.
While addressing her issues with Sukihana, Momma Dee shared what the root of the beef was and extended an apology as she says she wasn’t too happy with the way things were edited in the show to make her out to be in a bad light.
“Me being stupid… Someone asked me a question and I was pre [judgemental] of her. I judged of heart and it all came to blow up in Miami. She interview with my cousin Yung Joc and when I talked to him and I looked at excerpts from the interview I was sad to see her crying and see what people don’t get is that Momma Dee ain’t really like that. Now I can be but to know that I was asked a question and then they cut that but then they got me saying this and I don’t like when I’m edited [out]. If you’re gonna show me, show everything I say; don’t do that because then you put me on attack mode and when I attack, I attack.”
As for her son’s ex Bambi, Momma Dee previously said, “Love & Hip Hop portrays me as this over-bearing mother that is always in Scrappy’s business; however, I’m not overbearing, I don’t even know where my son is right now. So at the end of the day when Scrappy brings me to things I’m going to listen that is my child. What mother doesn’t listen to their child.” she shares.
“I don’t [have an issue] until they mess with my child,” she said at the time. “An older white woman told me when I was 27 something that stuck with me she said and I quote ‘If you ever want to find out how someone feels about you mess with their children.’ ain’t no explanation behind it.”
