Mom Charged For Running Over 6-Year-Old Son & Dumping Body In Ohio River
Brittany Gosney, a 29-year-old mom, has been charged for running over her 6-year-old son, James Robert Hutchinson, and dumping his body in the Ohio River. Gosney’s 43-year-old boyfriend, James Hamilton, has also been charged with abuse of a corpse and tampering with evidence.
On Friday (Feb. 26), Gosney tried to abandon her son at Rush Run Park in Preble County. However, as the boy tried to get back in the car, she sped off, ran over him and dragged him “for a distance.” When she returned to the scene 30 minutes later, she found him dead with a head injury. She brought him home and placed him in an upstairs bedroom.

The next day, Gosney and her boyfriend drove him to an undisclosed location and dumped his body into the Ohio River. The boy’s body has still not been found. Gosney and Hamilton, who were both arraigned on Monday afternoon (Mar. 1), have bonds and will remain in the Middletown County Jail until their next court date.
