MMA Fighter Says He Called 911 On The Police After Witnessing Derek Chauvin Press Harder On George Floyd’s Neck
The second day into George Floyd’s murder trial became an emotional one as bystanders began to testify what they witnessed.
MMA fighter Donald Williams said he called the police on former officer Derek Chauvin who had his knee on Chauvin’s neck for nine minutes outside of Cup Foods on the intersection of Chicago Avenue and East 38th Street, on May 25, 2020 in Minneapolis.
“I did call the police on the police,” Williams said. “Because I believe I witnessed a murder.”

Williams became emotional in court as the 911 call from the day was played.
He tells the dispatcher that Chauvin “pretty much just killed this guy that wasn’t resisting arrest. He had his knee on the dude’s neck this whole time.”
When asked why he made the 911 call, Williams replied that he “just felt like that was the right thing to do.”
As we reported, Chauvin’s defense team Chauvin’s defense team claimed that Floyd, used a counterfeit $20 bill to buy cigarettes, and that he was under the influence of drugs.
Chauvin has been charged with second-degree murder, third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter.
