Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Felipe Vazquez has been arrested on charges of solicitation of a child and looking at child pornography online, in addition to having a relationship with a minor.

Vazquez is currently in custody at the Allegheny County Jail, while he waits his extradition to Lee County, Florida.

Major League Baseball has put Vazquez on administrative leave. The 28-year-old was considered one of the best pitchers in history.

According to TMZ, police say they have been investigating allegations that Vasquez had a sexual relationship with a 13-year-old girl in Lee County.

According to police, the now 15-year-old girl has been in a relationship with the star and recently received a video of him performing a “sex act.”

Vasquez allegedly sent text messages to the girl saying that they could meet for sex once the MLB season was over.

He has been arrested for one count of “computer pornography, solicitation of a child” and one count of “providing obscene material to minors.”

Investigators say that more charges could be filed pending an investigation.
