“Let’s #ThrowItBack to a time when music just felt good and made us want to dance,” Missy wrote on Instagram.

This is major as the last album The Cookbook was released in 2005. This album couldn’t be more appropriate as she is set to receive the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award.

This award is presented at the MTV Video Music Awards to music performers, recognizing accomplishments in music and film, and she has earned that title.

This year alone, Missy has been awarded an honorary doctorate at the Berklee College of Music and was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
