Missouri Pastor On Leave After Telling Married Women To Lose Weight & Become More Attractive To Please Husbands
On Tuesday (Mar. 2), Missouri Pastor Stewart-Allen Clark took a leave of absence after telling married women to lose weight and become more attractive to please their husbands. As for an example of how women should look, he used former First Lady Melania Trump, calling her an “epic trophy wife of all time.”
During Pastor Clark’s sermon, he explained that in order for women to keep their husbands from straying, they needed to lose weight, become more attractive and submit to their men’s sexual desires. He added that in becoming more attractive, wives should wear makeup, dress nicely, have nice hair and appear less “butch.”

After catching backlash for delivering a sexist, misogynistic and inappropriate sermon in late February, Pastor Clark is now on leave from the First General Baptist Church in Malden, Missouri. It’s unclear whether that leave is paid or unpaid. But, a church spokesperson claims Pastor Clark is seeking “professional counseling.”
