Missing Florida Woman Discovered Naked In A Storm Drain
A Florida woman who was missing for several weeks, was found naked and trapped in a storm drain, covered in leaves and dirt.
The NY Post reports that A Delray Beach Fire Rescue crew responded to the storm drain after a woman was heard yelling from down below. It is not clear how she managed to get stuck in there, naked.
“Crews removed a grate to access the drain, which is about 8-feet deep, and used a ladder and a harness to raise the woman to ground level as a small crowd cheered,” fire officials said in a statement.
“From the police department standpoint, we don’t believe there was any type of crime committed,” police rep Ted White said. “It doesn’t feel like she was taken against her will. It appears this was done by her own free will.”
Authorities believe that she could’ve been in the drain for days or weeks at her own free will.
