‘Missing’ Drunk Man Spent Hours Helping A Search Party Look For Himself

A Turkish man had little to much fun getting drunk and wandered into the forest. Later unknowingly the man joined a search party to locate himself.

Beyhan Mutlu, a 50-year-old man was out with his friends drinking and after he wandered off in the forest his friend contacted authorities who then set up a search for the man.

Once the news got out a lot of nearby neighborhoods were extremely concerned and a large group of volunteers joined the search. During the search, people were yelling Mutlu’s name for hours then suddenly a man from within the crowd spoke up and said: “Who are we looking for? I am here.” 

Authorities are not sure how Mutlu made his way into the crown that was searching for him, but even his friends didn’t realize that he walking in the crowd with them. After Mutlu made himself noticed police went right ahead and took him home safely.

According to reports, this isn’t the first time a incident like this happened. Back in 2012, an Asian woman went missing in Iceland and found herself apart of her search party following failing to recognise her own description.
