After his body was discovered in a shallow grave in Crow Wing County with a gunshot wound to the back of the head, authorities identified the deceased as 23-year-old Bryce Brogle. According to an arrest record, Michael Lee Laflex, 45, was detained for Brogle’s killing since he was the last person to be seen with Brogle before the shooting. On October 28, his daughter reported Brogle missing and said he had gone to check out a storage facility her father had rented.

The storage container show signs of a crime scene, including evidence that someone had been dragged across the floor and that bleach had been used to clean up the mess. Following Leflex’s arrest, a family member said that he thought Brogle was torturing his daughter and revealed how the body was disposed of.

According to Yahoo! News, a landlord said he saw Laflex’s daughter with two black eyes before he received a call from him and reportedly told him that he was “going to kill Brogle and had the hole dug.” Brogle’s body was found in a makeshift gravesite on Sunday, October 30.

The Crow Wing County Sheriff’s Office arrested and charged Laflex for Brogle’s death. He is expected to appear in court on Nov. 15, and his bond was set for $2 million.
