A Milwaukee DoorDash driver says her life was put in danger when a customer tracked her down and threw a brick at her car after she failed to deliver their late-night food order.
Faith Morris, who had her four children in the car at the time, shared the terrifying experience with Fox6Now, saying the customer accused her of stealing their food — and later showed up in person to confront her.
“They picked up one of those bricks right there from the neighbor’s house, and they threw it on my windshield,”
The incident happened on July 11, after Morris accepted a late-night DoorDash order offering what she described as a decent payout. But things quickly went left when she lost cell service due to an overdue T-Mobile bill, preventing her from accessing the delivery address in the app.
“We pull up to the location but the address will not load because my app won’t load anymore,” she told the outlet.
“I sit outside the customer’s house for 10 minutes and [was] calling T-Mobile to see if they’ll turn my phone back on.”

DoorDash Confirms Customer Was Banned After Incident
Despite Morris trying to communicate with the customer via Wi-Fi, she says the situation spiraled out of control. The customer allegedly accused her of theft — and later, without warning, showed up at her door.
In a shocking twist, Morris says a DoorDash representative may have shared her location with the customer after the delivery issue was reported.
Following the attack, Morris says she no longer feels safe in Milwaukee and is considering relocating to protect her family. The traumatic incident, which unfolded with her kids present, has left her shaken.
In a statement, DoorDash confirmed the customer has been permanently banned from the platform. They also said they are cooperating with police, who are actively investigating.
