According to TMZ, Giannis Antetokounmpo and his teammates were a no-show for pre-game warms up before the Game 5 matchup and stayed in their locker rooms. Their boycott comes after Kenosha resident Jacob Blake was shot seven times in the back by police officers after he broke up a fight. Unfortunately, the team may face millions in fines if the NBA decides to enforce it due to their choice of missing the game.

Bucks guard George Hill said in a statement, “We’re tired of the killings and the injustice” after news broke out about the team’s boycott. It is also rumored the Los Angeles Lakers will boycott their game against the Portland Trailblazers later today and the Houston Rockets and Oklahoma City Thunder are also participating in the boycott.
