On Saturday (March 28), millions of Americans turned up for the third nationwide “No Kings” protest against President Donald Trump.
The third installment of the protests made history becoming the largest single-day protest in United States history — with the exception of the first Earth Day rally in 1970. At the time, there was an estimated 20 million people who showed up for the nationwide environmental rallies and teach-ins.
According to USA Today, the third “No Kings” protest saw about 8-9 million people taking to the streets across America in thousands of demonstrations. The second “No Kings” protest in October 2025 had a whopping 7 million estimated. This time, there were handfuls of more events scheduled — 3,300 versus 2,700. The first “No Kings” protest, in June 2025, saw 5 million demonstrators across the nation.
Third Installment Of ‘No Kings’ Protests Erupt Across U.S. And Europe
For the third “No Kings” demonstrations, Americans stormed the streets of Los Angeles, New York, Miami, Minneapolis, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C, Chicago, San Diego, Boston, and many more towns, both large and small.
According to Deutsche Welle, “no Kings” rallies also took place overseas.There were rallies throughout Europe, taking place across Germany, Italy, and the United Kingdom. Protestors took to the streets in Hamburg, Munich, Frankfurt, Dusseldorf, Rome, and London.
As always, the White House denounced the “No Kings” protests, dubbing them meaningless. This go ‘round, spokeswoman Abigail Jackson called the protests, “Trump Derangement Therapy Sessions.” She claimed the rallies were only of interest to “the reporters who are paid to cover them.”
Additionally, National Republican Congressional Committee spokesman Mike Marinella called the protests “Hate America Rallies.”
