Naturi Naughton Honored for Empowering Youth Through Saving Our Daughters Foundation

Actress Naturi Naughton received a major honor during the celebration for her ongoing work empowering young women through her Saving Our Daughters Foundation.

The star was recognized by DYCD Commissioner Keith Howard, Melissa Gabriel, Raven, and Senator Kevin Parker’s office for her dedication to creating opportunities and mentorship for young people.

Throughout the evening, the energy remained high with standout performances from Lola Brooke, Republic Records–signed rap group 41, Bay Swag, and influencer Jason “The Quarter Zip.” The combination of music, artistry, and community uplift reflected the event’s mission: to give back through culture, collaboration, and connection.

Beyond the performances, attendees experienced a series of interactive activations that made the event feel like a full-blown holiday festival. Guests enjoyed a hot cocoa station, custom beanie-making, and photo booth experiences powered by CC Photo Booth.

Cuts Cartel provided free haircuts and grooming services, while Chick-fil-A served warm chicken sandwiches and sweet treats to families throughout the evening. The vibe stayed joyful, community-centered, and rich in generosity—true to the event’s name, “Million Dollar Giveback.”

The event was hosted by Shaboogie and HOT 97’s DJ Drewski, with sounds provided by DJ JP, keeping the crowd energized and the dance floor packed. Every moment spoke to the heart of the Million Dollar Giveback’s mission — using hip-hop as a tool for empowerment, connection, and social impact.
