Michelle Obama Rips Donald Trump For “Racist” Actions And Causing So Much “Chaos”
Former First Lady Michelle Obama delivered her “closing argument” on Tuesday on behalf of Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden and let’s just say she sure didn’t hold back!

While encouraging Americans to vote for Biden, she slammed President Donald Trump’s management of the coronavirus pandemic and his stoking of cultural division.
“Let’s be honest: Right now, our country is in chaos because of a president who isn’t up to the job,” Obama said. “And if we want to regain any kind of stability, we’ve got to ensure that every eligible voter is informed an engaged in this election.” While speaking about how he handled the pandemic, she criticized him for pressuring schools to reopen “without offering a clear plan or meaningful support to keep students and teachers safe.” “If you’re a parent like me, you’re feeling the consequences of this president’s failure to take this pandemic seriously,” she said. “Yes, thankfully, there’s some relief in knowing that most cases in young people are mild, and I pray every day that no one faces longer-term consequences to this disease, but the truth is we just don’t know yet. And we simply cannot trust this president to tell us the truth about anything.”
Mrs. Obama also shared what she took from Trump handling his own battle with the virus.
“The truth is, the events of the past few days are a bracing reminder of the tragedy that has been this administration’s response to this crisis,” she said. “Because the fact is that the drama of the past few days has only emphasized what’s at stake in this election – from the coronavirus to a constant drumbeat of fear, division, and chaos that’s threatening to spiral out of control.”
“The worst part is it didn’t have to be like this,” Obama continued. “Look around the world… These countries were hit by the same virus we were, they had the same kind of resources to contain it as we did, but what they didn’t have to contend with was this president: A man who had every resource at his disposal, the finest medical experts, our best intelligence and yet ignored all the advice and failed to produce a plan to provide enough tests for worried families or protective equipment for our healthcare workers,” The Hill quotes.
In addition to this, she even touched on the protests that have spread across the country in the wake of George Floyd – a black man who died in Minneapolis police custody after an officer held him down with a knee to his neck.
“The president and his allies are trying to tap into that frustration and distract from his failures … they are stoking up fears … they are pinning it all on what’s been an overall peaceful demonstration,” Mrs. Obama said about the recent protests. “What the president is doing is, once again, patently false, it’s morally wrong, and yes, it’s racist. But doesn’t mean it won’t work. Because this is a difficult time, a confusing time,” she said.
She asked viewers to “put yourselves in our shoes for just a moment,” she said. “Imagine what it feels to wake up every day to uphold the values this country claims to be true … only for those efforts to be scorned, not just by citizens, but by a sitting president.”
Before concluding, the former first lady simply urged Americans to vote for Democratic candidate Biden, labeling him “a good man” who “has lived his life guided by values and principles.
