People really have no shame. Socialites, a Louisiana man has been arrested and fired from his job after he was caught urinating in the water supply at the Ascension Parish, Louisiana plant. 57-year-old Michael Mastin of Baton Rouge was charged with multiple felonies for the incident, which, according to Yahoo News, was not a one-time thing.

Surveillance footage showed that Martin urinated in the city’s water supply on at least two occasions, though it’s still unclear as to what his motive was behind the despicable and rather disgusting crime.

He was hit with two counts of contaminating water supplies and criminal damage to the infrastructure. In the video that’s since been released to the public, Mastin can be seen walking out of an office and towards one of the surveillance cameras which he purposely repositions in hopes of not being caught.

He then walks to the pool area before unzipping his pants, making direct contact with the camera on several occasions but carries on urinating before he eventually puts the device back in its original position to make it less obvious the camera had been tampered with.

“As Parish President, I am extremely disappointed, and I find this conduct disgusting and unacceptable,” Clint Cointment, who is Ascension Parish President, said in a statement upon coming across the clip. An investigation was opened on March 22, and with the evidence against him, Mastin was fired shortly after. But it’s far from over because he’ll have to face the court pertaining to why he was peeing in the water supply to begin with.

Mastin had a lengthy employment history with the water supply treatment plant in Donaldsonville, according to officials who issued a statement.

According to an announcement from authorities that was accompanied by the security footage, Mastin is seen leaving his office in the video and then appears to turn the angle of the camera before allegedly urinating into the water supply.

Mastin was allegedly visible in the full frame of the security camera, even after it had been shifted in angle, and at one point, he was reportedly looking directly into the lens.

Ascension Parish President Clint Cointment expressed his great disappointment and stated that this kind of behavior would not be condoned in parish government, saying, “I find this conduct disgusting and unacceptable.”

On the morning of March 22nd, officials from Ascension Parish became aware of the actions of Mastin, prompting the launch of an investigation. By the afternoon, Mastin had been relieved of his duties, as reported.
