Michael Jordan Donates $2M From His ‘The Last Dance’ Proceeds To Help Feed Hungry
Ahead of this year’s Thanksgiving holiday, Michael Jordan donated $2 million from his ‘The Last Dance‘ proceeds to help feed the hungry in America.
On Thanksgiving Eve, the NBA legend revealed that he gave a whopping $2 million o Feeding America, the nonprofit hunger-relief organization notable for hosting food banks across the country. Following Jordan’s insanely popular docuseries, which chronicled his final season with the Chicago Bulls, the high ratings ushered tons of dough.

Now, the famed basketball player is paying it forward with his large donating which will benefit food banks in Chicago and the Carolinas. In a statement, Jordan said, “In these challenging times and in a year of unimaginable difficulty due to COVID-19, it’s more important than ever to pause and give thanks. I am proud to be donating additional proceeds from ‘The Last Dance’ to Feeding America and its member food banks in the Carolinas in Chicago to help feed America’s hungry”
