The family and loved ones of Michael Jackson will be able to celebrate his legacy as reports state that his name will remain on the auditorium at Gardner Street Elementary School in Hollywood.

Some parents had questioned whether the late legend’s name should remain at the school following the defaming HBO documentary, “Leaving Neverland,” and they asked Principal Karen Hollis to remove the pop icon’s name.

However, KTLA reports that after a unanimous vote, most of the parents and staff at Gardner street elementary chose to keep Jackson’s name on the school’s auditorium.

“A majority of those who participated voted to maintain the current name as the Michael Jackson Auditorium,” the Los Angeles Unified School District said in a statement. “School leaders, teachers and support staff will focus on preventing any further disruptions to the school and further impact to classroom instruction, student learning and safety.”

Michael Jackson was never convicted of the charges he was accused of by Wade Robson and James Safechuck. A 10-year FBI investigation also came up with nothing.
