Michael Jackson Accuser James Safechuck’s Revived Abuse Lawsuit Thrown Out
One of Michael Jackson‘s “Leaving Neverland” accusers, James Safechuck just had his revived lawsuit against Michael’s production companies thrown out by a judge.
Safechuck‘s 2014 lawsuit against Jackson’s companies, MJJ Productions and MJJ Ventures Inc. was revived after Gov. Gavin Newsom signed a new law that extends the statute of limitations for abuse victims, giving Safechuck another chance to drag the late legend’s name.
TMZ reports that the judge ruled that Safechuck and his legal team presented no facts to support their argument and had no evidence to support the notion that executives at MJJ Productions and MJJ Ventures Inc. had a legal obligation to supervise Jackson when he allegedly abused him.

The judge noted Michael’s employees had no responsibility to monitor their boss’ behavior, and that his subordinates had no power to supervise him.
As of now, James has lost his case, but he can appeal.
Safechuck’s lawyer, Vince Finaldi, spoke to TMZ following the ruling,
“Young Jimmy Safechuck was employed by this company and was entertaining with Michael Jackson. The notion that this company and its employees would not have duty to protect him and keep him safe is ludacris. His ruling turns California law on its face. We are going back to court of appeal and we are going to win this thing.”
