Michael Blackson Matches $10k In Fan Donations To Help With Funeral Costs For A.J. Johnson
Michael Blackson has matched a $10,000 donation given by fans to help with late Friday actor Anthony ‘A.J.’ Johnson’s funeral expenses. The comedian put up an additional $10k after encouraging his fans to donate, and he matched up the efforts.
As we reported Johnson’s wife took to social media to call out the “fake love” as she shares that her family hasn’t received much help to help fund her husband’s funeral expenses.
The beloved comedian passed away earlier this month after passing out at a Los Angeles store.
Blackson initially took to Instagram to urge his fans to help donate,
“if he’s ever made you laugh let’s all contribute and send him home the right way. I’m not sure what anyone is doing but I’m going to raise my own money for him. Send whatever you want to cash app $BlacksonAngels. whatever is sent at the end of the day I’ll match it and send to his family to bury him.
