Michael B. Jordan Is People’s ‘Sexiest Man Alive’ For 2020!
PEOPLE has found a star to crown the “Sexiest Man Alive” and this year, the magazine is giving it to Michael B. Jordan!
The “Black Panther” and “Creed” star received the annual title from PEOPLE, which announced the news late Tuesday night. Jordan, 33, told the outlet that “It’s a cool feeling” to receive this honor.
He added
“You know, everybody always made that joke, like, ‘Mike, this is the one thing you’re probably not going to get.’ But it’s a good club to be a part of.” Jordan also took to Instagram where he shared the news with fans. He captioned his post: “My grandma lookin down talkin bout “that’s my baby” 🤎😂Thanks @People for naming me 2020’s #SexiestManAlive! Order a copy !”
The actor follows other big stars who have graced the cover of PEOPLE Magazine with that title. Those celebrities include John Legend (2019), Idris Elba (2018), Blake Shelton (2017), Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson (2016), David Beckham (2015), and Chris Hemsworth (2014). As Harpers Bazaar notes, Jordan is the 35th man, fifth person of color, and third Black celebrity in a row to receive the title.
