Finland’s current law regarding sexual harassment entails as an offense if an individual is touched without their consent, and did not consider unwanted penis pics along those lines because it falls under the country’s defamation laws. Now, the government will expand the definition of sexual harassment which will include unsolicited nude photos. However, the sentencing may vary from a fine to serving time in jail.
Finnish Justice Ministry Legal Adviser Sami Kiriakos said in a statement that a proposal will be sent to the government next year before parliament votes on it as reported by The Independent.
