Members From 3LW, Danity Kane, 702, Total & More Reunite To Form R&B Supergroup On New Reality Show
BET is creating a new reality show where members from platinum-selling girl groups 3LW, Danity Kane, 702, Total, Blaque and Cherish will reunite to form an R&B supergroup.
The 10-episode show, entitled ‘BET Presents: The Encore,’ is set to premiere on June 9 and will cast eight former members from the aforementioned groups who obtained success in the ’90s and ’00s — specifically: Pamela Long (Total); Irish Grinstead and LeMisha Grinstead (702); Shamari DeVoe (Blaque); Aubrey O’Day (Danity Kane); Kiely Williams (3LW); Felisha King and Fallon King (Cherish); plus Grammy-nominated R&B singer Nivea.

It’s reported that the show, executive produced by Carlos King, will see the singers live together for 30 days as they record an album at a home studio, learn choreography and practice their vocals. Speaking on the show, King says, “I felt that girl groups never got its just do … and I, as a content creator, wanted to … educate the masses on who I feel are the forgotten sisters of music. I wanted to pay homage to that industry and really give these women an opportunity to share their stories and their struggles.” #Socialites, will you be tuning in?
