Is there trouble in Trump paradise? According to Melania Trump‘s former aide Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, 53, Donald Trump, 77, is no longer as loving and “chivalrous” toward his 53-year-old loving and doting wife.

Wolkoff, who famously wrote the memoir ‘Melania and Me: The Rise and Fall of My Friendship with the First Lady,’ believes that the former First Lady’s marriage is on the rocks with her husband who is running for a second term in office. Wolkoff claims Trump’s behavior has seemingly changed toward his wife.

On Sunday (March 10), Stephanie Winston Wolkoff posted to her official account on X (formerly Twitter) and shared a video montage of Donald Trump and his wife Melania Trump. The video clipped together moments where the former President would open doors for his wife and gently place his hand on her back as she walked ahead of him or side-by-side with him, plus moments where he would hold her hand and more.

Those moments were then followed by clips stitched together of Donald Trump seemingly appearing both physically and emotionally distant from his wife, no longer “chivalrous.” The more recent footage showed Trump walking ahead of his wife on multiple occasions, leaving her several feet behind him, and never looking back.

Captioning the video montage, Wolkoff wrote, “Let me bottom line this for you. Perception is everything to the Trump Family so Donald’s lack of ‘chivalry’ towards Melania is quite a ‘tell.’ Chivalry for Donald was waiting for Melania to go first & ensuring she walked by his side. He’s been doing neither recently.”

Wolkoff’s comments only continue to fuel rumors of marital strife as just a week ago, the former First Lady left the internet speculating after she wasn’t seen in attendance at her husband’s Super Tuesday victory party in Mar-a-Lago, where they both live.

Interestingly enough, at the time, Wolkoff defended her former boss and took to her account on X to slam critics. She wrote, “Melania Trump was NOT at Donald’s victory party because she did NOT have to be. His supporters do NOT care if she is by his side or NOT, so now she does NOT have to be. NOThing more, NOThing less.”

Page Six reports that Melania Trump has yet to address the comments about her husband no longer being “chivalrous,” made by her former aide Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, whom the former First Lady dragged as an “opportunist” following the release of her memoir. In 2020, the former First Lady wrote an essay and uploaded it to the White House’s website blasting her former aide. She referred to her as “someone who clung to me after my husband won the Presidency.”

She added, “This is a woman who secretly recorded our phone calls, releasing portions from me that were out of context, then wrote a book of idle gossip trying to distort my character.”
