Meghan Markle Reportedly Won’t Get ‘Anything Of Value’ From Queen Elizabeth II’s $110 Million Jewelry Collection, Most Will Be Passed Down To Kate Middleton Instead

Meghan Markle isn’t expected to inherit anything of value from Queen Elizabeth II’s $110 million jewelry collection following her passing on Thursday. According to a new report, Her Majesty is said to have made changes to her will prior to her death, with Prince William’s wife, Kate Middleton, set to receive a heap of the Queen’s precious pieces.

Per Radar Online, since July, Queen Elizabeth II has been focusing on who was to receive what from her jewelry collection, with a source claiming at the time that “she’s made some last-minute changes to her will that’ll be a shocking surprise for her heirs.” Kate, according to the publication, was said to have been Her Majesty’s “family favorite,” and given that she’s the next in line to become Queen, it would only make sense for Kate to acquire the pricey belongings.

The Queen is believed to have shared a closer relationship with Kate than she did with Camilla, the source adds, implying that King Charles’ wife was also snubbed from receiving most of Her Majesty’s collectibles. As for Meghan, it shouldn’t come as a shock that she will apparently not receive much — if anything — given that she and her husband Prince Harry decided to quit their roles as working royals back in 2020 when they moved to Los Angeles.

“There’s a very good chance the Queen won’t leave either of them any jewels of value,” a source said. “It’s not surprising, since they’re not members of the royal family anymore,” the insider continued, “but it would be a real slap in the face.”

William and Kate aren’t worried about where the jewelry will go once those pieces are being handed out because they supposedly knew where they stood with the Queen prior to her death this week. Interestingly enough, however, Kate and William won’t want Meghan’s daughter Lilibet “left out” as their daughter Princess Charlotte is also expected to inherit a few of her own pieces.

And while Lilibet can possibly expect to receive a handful of the Queen’s jewelry, the insider makes it clear that Meghan is far from their concern, especially when it comes to Her Majesty’s wishes if she was already ignored in her will.

As previously reported, the Queen died at her Balmoral Castle in Scotland on Thursday at the age of 96. Her immediate family members flew from London to Aberdeen airport in an effort to be by her side in the final hours before her passing, with Prince Harry arriving to the castle over an hour after Buckingham Palace had announced Her Majesty had died.
