That’s right! the exciting news was announced by the official Twitter account for the Disneynature channel, which also confirmed earlier reports of this move. The tweet said, “Disneynature’s Elephant, an Original Movie narrated by Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex, starts streaming April 3, only on #DisneyPlus.”
This great move for Meghan comes after Harry was filmed back in July revealing her interest to be involved in a project to Disney’s chief, Bob Iger, at the London premiere of the Lion King. In the video that was shared online showed Harry 35, pointing to his wife and telling Iger: “You do know she does voiceovers? she’s really interested.” Although Mr Iger, looked surprised, he said “We’d love to try. That’s a great idea.” Looks like Harry’s help and her natural talent worked as she officially locked in the job!
The new Disney film will follow a family of elephants and their journey across the Kalahari Desert in Africa. It will be available to stream on Disney+ from April 3, three days after she and Harry officially quit as senior royals on March 31.
