Megan Thee Stallion Officially Sues Her Record Label

Megan The Stallion is not playing any games! Just hours after the rap star took to social media to share that her record label has been holding her back, it looks like the 25-year-old has decided to handle things the legal way!

According to TMZ, Megan went ahead and filed a lawsuit suit Monday against 1501 Certified Entertainment as well as its honcho, Carl Crawford. As Meg previously expressed, she’s frustrated and upset about the contract she signed with the label back when she was just 20-years-old. She claims it’s now blocking her from doing many things including releasing new music because she’s been trying to renegotiate.

Meg says it was brought to her attention that certain things were off in her contract after getting managed by Jay-Z’s Roc Nation, which pointed a lot of stuff out to her. Apparently, Meg says everything was all good until one day she approached the label and asked to renegotiate. From there, things went completely “left.”

While no further details on the suit has been shared, Meg’s fan base: the Hot Girls, have been trying to figure how they will get through without any new music from the star, if things don’t go in her favor. However, Meg recently took to Twitter to share this tweet:
