We love to see it! Megan Thee Stallion recently launched a brand new website called “Bad B*tches Have Bad Days Too” which provides her fans with mental health resources.
The site provides a series of links for free therapy, crisis hotlines, and groups working specifically with the Black community, including therapy for Black women and Black men and a LGBTQ Psychotherapist of Color Directory.
“Hotties! You know how much mental wellness means to me, so I created a hub with resources that can help when you might need a hand. Head to badbitcheshavebaddaystoo.com now and check it out. Love y’all so much 🖤” Meg pinned on the website.
Megan recently did an interview with The Cut where she reflected on her trauma and her newest album where she got very open with her fans about her personal life. “Everybody has gone through their own trauma in their own way, and to me, Traumazine is me facing the things that I’ve been running from about myself. … It’s comforting to know that other people are going through the same thing that you might be feeling,” Megan expressed to The Cut in August.
“When something happens to people, they feel like, ‘Oh my gosh, this is only me. This is not normal, or I’m probably the only person in the world that feels like this.’ But to hear somebody else talking about something that you’re probably feeling, it’s more comforting and more familiar. That’s why people resonate with hearing other people’s stories.”
Megan has been through a lot in the last couple of years. The rapper has been very open about the passing of her mother and always speaks about how much her mother helped her in the music industry.
Most recently Rapper Megan Thee Stallion spoke in detail about the shooting allegations against Tory Lanez with Gayle King, offering new details into the events before she was injured.
In the interview, Meg alleged that the 2020 incident began because she wanted to leave a party before the group she was with did. She told CBS News’ Gayle King that an argument began and she stepped out of the car.
“And all I hear is this man screaming. … And he started shooting,” Pete said, according to a preview clip. “And I’m just like, ‘Oh, my God.’ Like, he shot a couple of times.”
He was “standing up over the window” of the car shooting, said Pete, who said she was too scared to move.
“’Cause I’m like, ‘Oh, my God. If I take the wrong step, I don’t know if he’s going to shoot something that’s, like, super important. I don’t know if he could shoot me and kill me,” she told King.
