Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly could be tying the knot sooner than you think, with a new report claiming they are in the “final stages” of putting together their wedding. After about a year and a half of dating, Megan and MGK announced their engagement in January, with sources now telling Entertainment Tonight that the pair are planning for a ceremony filled with punk rock glamour.

“They want a dark, sexy, very punk rock and glam celebration,” the insider gushed. “They’re planning things together as one and looking forward to starting a new chapter together and looking forward to what the future brings and spending their lives together. Their relationship is very intense, dark, romantic, and sexy and that’s how they want their wedding celebration to be.”

Was Megan Fox Inspired By Kourtney’s Aesthetic?

Could Megan have drawn some inspiration from Kourtney Kardashian? The 43-year-old reality star used a Catholic-like aesthetic for her nuptials to Travis Barker in Portofino, Italy last month, though the color tones were much darker than those of your typical Catholic wedding ceremony. It wouldn’t come as a surprise since Megan is not only good friends with Kourt but she also attended the service with MGK.

Aside from announcing their engagement via social media earlier this year, both Megan and MGK have been pretty tight-lipped on matters concerning their big day, but the “Emo Girl” rockstar did reveal to Ellen Degeneres back in March who he would have in mind to perform at the bash after being made to choose between *NSYNC and BTS. “Which boy band am I going to know the most songs of? For sure, *NSYNC. But which band do I surprisingly know all these facts about? BTS.”

Megan was previously married to actor Brian Austin Green from 2010 to 2021, but they were already living separately by late 2019.

Together, they share three children: Bodhi, Journey, and Noah. Soon after going public with MGK, Brian went on social media to share his thoughts about Megan’s new man, having assumed that he still stood a chance to reconcile with his then-wife. In August 2020, during a Q&A on Instagram, Brian was asked whether he believed he could still work things out with Megan despite her having found somebody new.

He responded, saying, “I never say never. You never know. I kinda feel like people are on paths in life and sometimes your paths are together and you travel that path together and you see eye to eye and then sometimes paths do different things.”

Brian mentioned having shared many amazing memories with his former flame but they also “really went through a lot together.” And while he didn’t expect her to move on and settle down with MGK, he was willing to remain cordial, adding he would continue to support his ex on her path to finding happiness.

“So right now the paths are different and she is on her path doing what she feels she needs to be doing to be happy and I’m on my path doing what I feel I need to do to be happy,” Brian continued. “And it’s not for a lack of love for the kids or lack of being responsible, you learn as you get older it’s really important to take care of yourself.”
