If you caught NLE Choppa’s interview on the Jason Lee Show then you probably saw the hilarious moment when the rapper tried his very best to shoot his shot at his longtime crush, Meagan Good.
For those that need a quick recap, the “Do It Again” rapper participated in a game of Smash Or Pass where he gave the red sign to almost every female entertainer except for Miss Good.
When host Jason Lee revealed that he has her contact, the 20-year-old smiled and said, “You got Meagan number?! Aye on me, I been wanting to take her on a dinner. I wanna get some roses planned. I wanted to do like some real – some sh*t I never did before for Meagan Good. You know, I could be a preacher, all that. Whatever she want me to be.”
Lee then called Good and she even answered. Once Choppa got the phone, that’s when he put on his smooth voice and tried to shoot his shot at her. While it seemed like a great conversation was about to kick off, all was heard was the sound of the phone call ends.
Now y’all know social media trolled Choppa over the funny clip. However, TMZ recently stopped the actress to talk about the viral moment and she’s clarified that not intentionally dial tone NLE. She said her mother had called and their call got disconnected. As for him trying to spit some game at her, Good says,
“I’m very old,” she joked. He’s too young for me,” she said while admitting that it was very flattering.

While switching topics, the Memphis native felt comfortable enough to open up about his battle with depression and how it almost led him to contemplate suicide in 2020. As we previously reported, he shared a tweet to his Twitter in March of that yea that read, “Imma kill myself the last day of December 2020. Y’all better enjoy me while y’all can.”
At the time, fans were extremely worried for Choppa’s well-being when made such a remark on social media, with people urging his family and relatives to intervene. Prayerfully he fought through the tough times and is thankful he can talk about it today while encouraging his fans to focus on their mental health.
He explained to Lee, “You know, you get introduced to so many different things to a new lifestyle where you kind of lose the purpose, the focus. So, God came back into my life, and he was like, ‘Look at you. You want to come back to dada now, don’t ya?’”
“I was at the lowest, lower than low, to where you sink so low that you wake up and you be like, ‘I’m better off not here.’ So when you get to that point and you’re not a quitter, and you’re a fighter, you do whatever you have to do to make sure you get back to your highs. And part of that was switching my lifestyle.”

Thanks to hoops prayer, support and eating healthy, Choppa said he for himself back on the track:
“With me just learning the science behind killing an animal, taking an animal’s life and energy doesn’t die, it only transfers,” he told Lee. “Energy that the animal was in is transferred through the meat, through what you eat.”
