Megan Good is setting the record straight once again about her marriage with ex-husband Devon Franklin.
Earlier this week, Hollywood Unlocked had the pleasure of speaking with the actress at the world premiere of the new film Shazam in Los Angeles. While chatting with reporter Alexyz Joi, Good shared how great it felt to be there but also switched gears to talk about an important topic: finding the strength to move forward during tough times.
As we previously reported, Good and Franklin ended their relationship in 2021 after nine years of marriage. Despite their split, however, the two have remained cordial and very supportive of one another.

When asked if she could share some helpful advice with those who are currently going through a divorce, Good said, “you really got to trust God.” Many social users commended her in the comment section for her great words but of course, there are still some folks trying to speculate where things went wrong while she and Franklin were still together.
One IG user said, “Put god first and they were cheating? It’s the blind leading the blind out here.” Good commented back, “nobody cheated. lol, how do you all come up with this stuff?” Another suggested that she didn’t want to have kids with him, which Good also denied.
The commenter @aphrodite_shayy said: “I believe maybe she didn’t want kids and he did and probably other things that played into and they realized moving forward their not on the same page but they still have love and respect for each other. I feel she showed a bit of it at the end of Harlem. Art imitating life. Allegedly.”
Good replied, “lol no I want kids. Camille is a wonderful ‘character’ that I enjoy‘playing.’ There’s pieces of me in her-but that is not one. I appreciate the allegedly lol. Be blessed.”

There’s no one at fault, we believe this is the next best chapter in the evolution of our love.
“We are incredibly grateful for the life-changing years we’ve spent together as husband and wife. We are also extremely thankful to God for the testimony being created inside us both and for blessing our lives with each other.”
