Mary Magdalene, an influencer and artist widely known for documenting her cosmetic surgery journey on social media, has passed away after falling from the ninth floor of a high-rise apartment building on Phuket Island, Thailand. She was 33.

According to PEOPLE, Magdalene — whose real name was Denise Ivonne Jarvis Gongora — was discovered by apartment staff in the complex’s parking area on December 9. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Local authorities from the Patong Police Department are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding Gongora’s death. Apartment staff reportedly told police that the influencer had been scheduled to view the apartment on December 10, one day after she was found.

Investigators also discovered a pair of flip-flops near the ninth-floor balcony, which has become part of the ongoing inquiry.
