Looks like Rep. Majorie Taylor Greene had a few things to get off her chest during a conference to announce that she is introducing articles of impeachment against president Joe Biden.

During the conference Greene took the time to address Rep. Jamaal Bowman after calling her a white supremacist. “[He called me] a white supremacist, which I take great offense to,” Greene said. “That is like calling a person of color the N-word, which should never happen. Calling me a white supremacist is equal to that, and that is wrong.”

Bowman responded back to Greene’s statement saying, “Black men continue to be characterized as aggressive and threatening when we are passionate and outspoken,” he told reporters. “They’re not just using dogwhistles, they’re using bullhorns. It’s dangerous, but we must ALL continue to speak truth to power.”

Greene at a press conference earlier in the day had said that Bowman has a “history of aggression” toward her and others that she is “very concerned” about.

“Yelling, shouting, raising his voice. He has aggressive — his physical mannerisms are aggressive,” she said.

“I think there’s a lot of concern about Jamaal Bowman, and I am concerned about it. I feel threatened by him,” Greene added.

If your not familiar with Greene she is known for being a Republican politician and a member of the United States House of Representatives. She represents Georgia’s 14th congressional district, having been elected in November 2020.

Greene gained significant attention and controversy due to her promotion of various conspiracy theories and controversial statements. She has expressed support for the QAnon conspiracy theory, which alleges a global conspiracy against former U.S. President Donald Trump. Additionally, she has made controversial remarks regarding school shootings, the 9/11 attacks, and other sensitive topics.

As a result of her controversial statements and beliefs, Greene faced scrutiny and criticism from both Democrats and some Republicans. In February 2021, she was stripped of her committee assignments by the Democratic-controlled House of Representatives, a move typically reserved for disciplinary action against members. However, Greene remains a polarizing figure, with a dedicated base of supporters who appreciate her unapologetic conservative stance.
