Marilyn Manson Accused Of Horrific Abuse And Violent Assault
Marilyn Manson is under fire for horrific abuse and manipulation by his ex Evan Rachel Wood.
In an Instagram post on Monday morning, Wood publically named her abuser as rockstar Marilyn Manson.
“The name of my abuser is Brian Warner, also known to the world as Marilyn Manson,” Wood said. “He started grooming me when I was a teenager and horrifically abused me for years. I was brainwashed and manipulated into submission. I am done living in fear of retaliation, slander, or blackmail. I am here to expose this dangerous man and call out the many industries that have enabled him before he ruins any more lives. I stand with the many victims who will no longer be silent.”
Wood is reported to have met Manson when she was 18, and he was 36. Following the public revelation, other women came out with their own horrific experience with Manson, which included sexual assault, violence, and other manipulative abuse.
In a 2009 interview, he admitted that he fantasized about “smashing” Evan Rachel Wood’s “skull in” after their split.
Wood previously spoke about the abuse, and being near death from some of the attacks, however, this is the first time she publically named him.
Ashley Lindsay Morgan also took to Instagram to detail her horrific experience with Manson. They had met in Thailand and apparently, Manson would ask her to bring back Nazi memorabilia, despite her being Jewish.
“There was abuse, sexual violence, physical violence and coercion,” claimed Morgan. “I brought him all of this horrible stuff, and feel so much guilt and shame because of it,” she wrote. “I wanted to believe it never happened and he wasn’t hurting people the way he hurt me, shamed me, publicly embarrassed me.”
