Man Shot Dead After Pepper Spraying Security Guard During Patriot Rally In Denver

A man was fatally shot during a clash between Patriot Rally participants and BLM protestors at the Civic Center in Denver, Colorado.

According to the New York Post, one of the attendees was arguing with BLM protestors then pepper-sprayed a security guard who protected local reports from NBC affiliate 9News. Shortly after, the security guard shots the man at point-blank range. Authorities say it is unclear which movement he was a part of but assumed he was a member of Antifa due to his all-black outfit and American flag bandana.

Both the victim and the security guard were white and Denver police will charge him with homicide.

Prior to the shooting, the rally participant was seen antagonizing another BLM protestor among others.

The deceased’s identity is currently unknown and no further details were released.
