Man Raises $10K After Jokingly Requesting Venmo Payments To Tap-Dance Over Downstairs ‘MAGA’ Neighbors

A 45-year-old Cleveland, Ohio man raised over $10,000 after he joking requested Venmo payments to tap-dance over his downstairs neighbors, who happen to be “MAGA” supporters.

The man, Jett Croisant, who noticed that his neighbors hung a “Trump 2020” banner in their window, placed a note of his own in his, which read, “Venmo @ JET513 and I will tapdance at midnight,” followed by a smaller note, “Biden 2020.”

While he expected minimal donations, his campaign went viral and racked up over $10,000 as of Tuesday morning, after his neighbor across the street, Amy Ziemak, blasted a photo of the windows on social media. Due to the overwhelming response, Croisant says he plans to donate all the funds to the ACLU.

Speaking on his idea to place signs in his own window, Croisant explains, “A couple months ago they put up the banners in the window, and it was the dumbest banners ever. It frustrated me a lot. When we had the protest in Cleveland, that night they took it down. A couple nights later, they put it back up. It didn’t make me too happy…so I thought it would be a kind of funny to do to annoy them.”
