A man from the United Kingdom is currently on the run and has become labeled a “hot burglar” on social media after police released his mugshot to the public.

Jonathan Cahill,37, is currently on the run from the West Yorkshire Police after allegedly violating the terms of his release from prison. Cahill was released from prison in September 2021 after serving a part of his sentencing but his whereabouts are currently unknown. After police posted his mugshot on social media, users were commenting on his “handsome” looks and compared him to Jeremy Meeks.
“Yorkshire’s very own Jeremy Meeks, His mugshot earned him right bragging rights!” one of the comments reads.

Another commentator said, ‘Should be easy to find, half the women in West Yorkshire will be chasing him after reading these comments.’ Others also criticized the commentators about their responses to the mugshot, stating the outcome would be different if Cahill was a woman.
‘If this was an attractive woman burglar and wanted by the police and comments were from men saying what’s been said now, I’m sure the police would look into every single Facebook account of those men.’
Authorities believe Cahill is hiding out in Wakefield, Lees, and described him as someone who is at a height of six feet with a medium build.
