On October 31, Mozejewski, a Hollywood set designer, shared a time-lapse video of him constructing the demolition costume. He showed the whole process of him building the structure that covered his head, torso, and waist.

Mozejewski captioned the post, “Put this in the Smithsonian before they tear that down too. Aside from the excavator this entire build is made from trash and recycled materials and cost me $0 @whitehouse #halloween.”

On November 1, Mozejewski shared a video of him in the streets with costume and the real-time reactions he received. He captioned the post, “I love my fans. Shout out to the 9,000 people that took a photo with me last night.”

Under one user who reposted his videos, Mozejewski wrote, “There’s a video of how I made it on my Instagram. Only took two days.”

Donald Trump And White House Speak On $300 Million East Wing Ballroom Renovation Project Amid Government Shutdown And Halt On SNAP Program

On July 31, the White House announced that construction on the White House’s new ballroom in the East Wing would soon begin. They claimed the project would cost about $200 million, noting that Trump and other patriot donors were generously committed to donating the funds necessary for the build. However, by late October, the cost for the ballroom — which will reportedly be named the President Donald J. Trump Ballroom — went up to at least $300 million.

On October 23, Trump told ABC News’ Chief White House Correspondent Mary Bruce that he raised about $350 million. However, he said, “It’s going to cost right in the neighborhood of $300 million. It’s been expanded. It’ll be the most beautiful ballroom anywhere in the world, I think.” When asked how much money he’s directly donated, he said, “I won’t be able to tell you until it’s finished. But, I’ll donate whatever’s needed, I’ll tell you that.”

Meanwhile, as construction continues on the new White House ballroom, the government remains shutdown and nearly 42 million Americans lost their food stamp/SNAP Program benefits on November 1. Along with many Americans criticizing Trump’s construction project and ignoring the halt on SNAP was Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett (D-TX). On October 23, she tweeted:

“Today, the White House Press Secretary told the country that this ridiculous damn ballroom is ‘the president’s main priority.’ Not reopening the government, not lowering the cost of groceries, not lowering the cost of housing, not lowering the cost of healthcare…Building a ballroom.”
