A man who claims he had a years-long romantic relationship with former Patriots star Aaron Hernandez is speaking out in Netflix’s newest documentary, “Aaron Hernandez, the Killer Inside,“ which is a three-part series exploring the NFL star’s career and downward spiral to a life or crime.

Dennis SanSoucie details that he and Hernandez became close in high school and were in “an on and off-relationship from seventh grade to junior year of high school.”

SanSoucie reveals that they experimented, but, kept it a secret due to the fear of what people would think and that both of their fathers were “homophobic.”

“After doing it, it was like, “F—, did someone catch “us? Did someone know? Dude, if we get caught, it’s ruined. Our parents are going to disown us.’”

The “Killer Inside” explores Hernandez’s sexuality from a young age right up until his time in jail. While a clear motive is never established for his crimes, the documentary hints that his sexuality may have played a part, right up until his death.
