One of the men involved in the Capitol riots has been arrested and charged for threatening to shoot Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez.

Garret Miller,34, is facing multiple charges for the threat after posting the following tweet on Twitter which reads, “Assasinate AOC.” The Department of Justice also reported that Miller threatened to kill the cop who fatally shot Ashli Babbitt and posted several other troubling tweets before the insurrection on Jan.6.
As reported by TMZ, AOC felt like her life was in danger during the riots while discussing the aftermath on Instagram Live: “I can tell you that I had a very close encounter where I thought I was going to died. I did not know if I was going to make it to the end of that day alive.”

When someone tweeted those inside were infiltrators, Miller replied “Nah we stormed it” and “Assassinate @AOC”

Miller said he wanted to incriminate himself and investigators used that as evidence for the charges. The evidence included screenshots of the threatening tweets and footage from the riots.
