Man Accused of Vandalizing His Own Car with Pro-Trump Graffiti
A Buffalo man is facing fraud charges for claiming that his 2004 BMW was vandalized with racist pro-Trump graffiti such as “Trump 4 President.”
It turns out 18-year-old Clifton Eutsey was charged in Buffalo City Court with third-degree insurance fraud, falsifying records, and falsely reporting an incident for vandalizing his own car.
WKBW reports that the graffiti on his car included swastikas, homophobic words, and more pro-Trump messages.
Eutsey spoke to WKBW, about the alleged vandalism, “I never thought that happens” and “I thought that was stuff that happened in movies.”
After he shared the incident On Facebook, he was questioned about whether he did it himself,
“Who would do that to their own vehicle?” Eutsey responded. “Who does that? Nobody does that to their own car. How are you going to get around now if you do that to your car?”
However, after a “thorough investigation,” officials confirmed that Eutsey “did it himself.”
“I don’t want to go exactly into what the evidence is but there’s some video out there and there’s just good old-fashioned investigating,” Deputy Flynn said. “Talking to witnesses. Talking to family. Talking to neighbors. We put 2 and 2 together and he’s 4.”
