Mall Santa Fired For Refusing To Gift Gun To Child For Christmas

A mall santa was reportedly fired after a video went viral on Twitter of Mr. Claus shutting down a child’s gift request of a gun.

In the video the young boy asks for a gun, which is later clarified by his mother as a nerf gun, however, Santa wasn’t here for it. After all, America has a major gun problem and it wouldn’t be an appropriate toy.

“No, no guns,” Santa says in the video. “Nope, not even a Nerf gun. Nope. If your dad wants to get it for you, that’s fine, but I can’t bring it to you.”

In the video, the child begins to cry as Santa offers him more kid friendly options,

“What else would you like?” Santa asks. “There’s lots of other toys… There’s Legos, there’s bicycles, there’s cars and trucks. What do you think?”

The video ends with the childs sobs. His mom later spoke out about the incident on Facebook,

“My poor baby. This was the first year Michael was excited to go see Santa. It was supposed to be magical but instead I had to watch my sweet little boy fight back tears because Santa told him ‘No’ because of his own personal beliefs.

She also shared that many people offered to buy her son the gift instead, but decided to forward the offers to less fortunate children.
